Genesis Training Centre offers quality Youth training using Unit Standards to enable Youth aged 16 - 19yrs to achieve their NCEA. (Some aged 15yrs can access the alternative education training provided they have a school exemption) Youth with a preference in Horticulture, Landscaping can access that training as an option. Unit standards in craft including pottery, painting & pewter casting is also available.
Some details:
• NCEA Training is primarily English, and Maths Level 1 though other subjects can be negotiated.
• Specialist literacy help and support is available.
• Weekly recreational activities are also included.
